Powder metallurgy is one of the research and development fields pioneered by Northwest Institute for Non-Ferrous Metal Research (NIN) in China. Over the years, many experts and scholars have achieved fruitful scientific research results in this field, developed a large number of high-performance new products, and established a considerable scale of production base, making significant contributions to the development of high-tech military and civilian industries in our country.
In order to turn advanced technology into achievements, NIN restructured the original powder metallurgy factory into a company, and established Xi'an BaoDe Powder Metallurgy Co., Ltd. in 2003.
Since its establishment, BaoDe has adhered to the rigorous military industry spirit in scientific research of NIN, continuously innovating in scientific research and technology, and has also continuously achieved new highs in economic benefits
In order to improve the capital structure of the company, enhance its risk resistance, and strengthen its development momentum, the company began a capital restructuring in 2015 and was officially renamed Western BaoDe Technology Co., Ltd.
The company is now located in Jingwei New City, Xi'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of more than 90 acres, and has passed the QES system certification. It specializes in the design, research and development, and manufacturing of filtration and separation systems and equipment, rare metal powders, and metal porous materials.
Western BaoDe Technology Co., Ltd. is also the supporting unit of the National Key Laboratory of Metal Porous Materials, Shaanxi Provincial Engineering Research Center for Filtration and Separation, Xi'an Engineering Research Center for Filtration and Separation, and the Industry-University-Research Base of the Materials College of Xi'an Jiaotong University.
